Founded in 1990, the Colorado based company designed its original product, Escoffier Software, a DOS-based system named after the famed French chef, Auguste Escoffier, to apply sophisticated restaurant management techniques in an easy to use format.

"In those days only about 40 percent of independently owned restaurants were computerized," explains Brian Bennett, president of Culinary Software Services. Recent accomplishments for the company include double digit growth in each of the last four years. ChefTec was also awarded the Innovator's Award for foodservice technology in both 1998 and 1999.
