Culinary Software Services and Caterease Team Up
with Common Interface
Caterers/Event Planners Can Easily Cost Out Events
BOULDER, Colo. - Aug. 13, 2001 — Culinary Software Services and Caterease have released interfaces to allow their software to communicate with each other. The interface works to export recipe prices from ChefTec into Caterease so users can accurately bill customers on function menus. It also allows users of ChefTec Plus the ability to do perpetual inventory by importing sales information of menu items from Caterease to ChefTec Plus. Perpetual inventory keeps track of what items were sold to automatically calculate what inventory was used and what should be in hand.

Recipe costing allows caterers and event planners to cost out menus, monitor fluctuating food costs and compare vendor prices at the touch of a button.
