ChefTec Enterprise Edition Inherits CorTec Technology
Enterprise Edition released at HITEC show in Chicago
CHICAGO, Ill - June 25, 2002 — ChefTec Enterprise Edition™ was made available by Culinary Software Services (CSS). The Enterprise Edition extends the ChefTec line of software while borrowing some functionality from the CorTec product. ChefTec Enterprise Edition is a step beyond ChefTec Plus and offers a complete back-office software solution that focuses on inventory control, recipe and food costing, purchasing and ordering.
ChefTec Enterprise Edition meets the needs of complex operations where there is more than one operation, or profit center, on the same site or where several restaurants are managed from one site. The program will allow tracking of requisitions and transfers and the Theoretical Food Cost Worksheet can be used to ask "what if" type questions across categories of recipes for one-step updating of menu prices. Multiple profit centers and the ability to transfer information, such as inventory, invoices, and recipes, between those profit centers make the ChefTec Enterprise Edition an ideal tool for managing costs within large hotels.
