ChefTec PDA Color Launched at FS/TEC Show

Product Enhancement to be Demonstrated at Booth #1257

Long Beach, Calif. - Nov. 6, 2000 - Culinary Software Services, Inc. announced the latest enhancement to its line of mobile computing solutions for the foodservice industry. Building on the success of the original ChefTec™ PDA, ChefTec PDA Color is now offered for the Palm IIIc from 3Com®.

ChefTec PDA Color allows users to take their personal digital assistants throughout their operation, entering inventory and then uploading the physical counts into ChefTec on their desktop.

"Now, users are able to view their PDA in color, making ChefTec PDA Color easier to read and use than the black and white version," said Keith Jackson, lead developer in the PDA project.

In addition, ChefTec PDA Color has additional memory, so foodservice operators can store more inventory items and inventory locations.
