Culinary Software Services Announces QuickBooks Data Integration for ChefTec

Interface makes it possible for ChefTec to transfer invoice data to QuickBooks

BOULDER, Colo. - July 8, 2003 - Culinary Software Services has released an interface for QuickBooks accounting software to seamlessly transfer invoice information. QuickBooks is a leading business accounting program that easily facilitates transaction recording, posting to ledgers, writing checks, preparing invoices, performing reconciliation and preparing the company financial statements. QuickBooks is a widely used accounting program in the foodservice industry.

ChefTec Software is extensively used in the foodservice industry for inventory control, recipe and menu costing, purchasing and ordering, and nutritional analysis. ChefTec’s focus is specifically on foodservice and provides much more detail about individual inventory items, vendor pricing and food costs than a general accounting system. Line item detail from invoices can be transferred effortlessly from ChefTec into QuickBooks. With the interface users get the best out of both systems while eliminating double data entry.
