Quick Recipe Update Feature Added in ChefTec Version 6.2

ChefTec Version 6.2 release makes recipe data entry easy

BOULDER, Colo. - May 30, 2002 — Culinary Software Services has released ChefTec Version 6.2 featuring the new Quick Recipe Update screen. Quick Recipe Update will allow users to change information for all recipes in one screen. Users can edit recipe information, such as menu price, PLU number, active status, or saleable status from the same screen without having to open an individual recipe. The Quick Recipe Update screen can be customized by end-users to display just the information they want to see: one person may want to see just the recipe name and recipe author, while another person may want to see PLU numbers.

“We've had a lot of customer requests asking for the functionality of our new Quick Recipe Update screen. Last week a customer called and told me he was making an across-the-board menu price increase. He wanted to change all of his menu prices in one place. Version 6.2 achieves this.
