ChefTec Software Version 8.5 Setting the Standard for Recipe/Menu Costing & Inventory Control Software in 21st Century
BOULDER, Colo. - October 26, 2004 — Culinary Software Services, Inc. announced today that they will be demonstrating the latest release of their award winning ChefTec Software package at this year's New York International Hotel/Motel & Restaurant Show®, booth #1422. Enhancements in ChefTec and ChefTec Plus Version 8 include a powerful new backend database, scalable to the largest operation along with built-in internet connectivity. Many usability features have been added to speed up data-entry and improve accuracy. Culinary Software Services' President, Brian Bennett, explained his goal with the release of version 8.5: "This time around we wanted to provide complete scalability and facilitate substantial time-savings. In the past we've focused heavily on helping our customers to save money - we felt it was important for us to make the software more scalable for the largest of operations as well as valuable in terms of time-savings. ChefTec Enterprise users in particular will save hours and hours of effort by using V8.5." Other features include the flexibility to switch units globally -- entering the change once to update units system-wide -- and a hot link direct from ChefTec's Nutritional Analysis screen to the USDA website.
