ChefTec Tutor Featured in Professional Cooking
Leading culinary textbook now contains cutting edge software
BOULDER, Colo. - August 23, 2002 - Educational publisher John Wiley & Sons, Inc. has selected Culinary Software Services to provide software to accompany the 5th edition of Professional Cooking, by Wayne Gisslen. In the new edition, ChefTec Tutor for Professional Cooking is a CD-ROM supplement for the academic version of the book. This software allows students to view the recipes as well as the ability to create their own. ChefTec Tutor contains over 600 recipes from the book, as well as nutritional information, conversions, costing and inventory information.
Professional Cooking is used by culinary education programs around the country and is considered one of the main culinary resources by instructors. In addition to ChefTec Tutor software, the new edition has over 100 new recipes and over 100 recipes from the master chefs of Le Cordon Bleu, an internationally renowned school for the culinary arts. The 5th edition also has expanded information, including two new chapters covering cured food as well as pâtés and other cold foods, and high quality photos or ingredients, techniques, and plated dishes.
Professional Cooking 5th edition and ChefTec Tutor for Professional Cooking are available now and can be purchased from Wiley.
